ALERT! GOP Straw Poll REMOVES the “NONE” Option & Gives Paul 0%!

As if Neo CON deception wasn’t blatant enough, by REMOVING Ron Paul for WINNING their poll, now the national GOP Straw Poll has removed the category of “NONE”, after news stories were beginning to report that “NONE” represented the vote for Ron Paul!

Quoting:

Since the GOP Strawpoll banned Ron Paul from its online poll, Ron Paul supporters have been flooding the site. Result: ‘None’ is winning the poll. (It should be noted emphatically that neither FMNN nor the Ron Paul campaign encourages any spamming of any kind in support of this rapidly advancing presidential candidate.) FMNN reported on the banning today, “Let the Banning Begin,” here:

http://www.freemarketnews.com/WorldNews.asp?nid=49045

Results: ‘None’ has forged ahead of the second leading candidate, Romney, as of 1:30 PM/ETA

(none) 951 (40.3%)
Romney 699 (29.6%)
F. Thompson 264 (11.2%)
Huckabee 120 (5.1%)
Giuliani 99 (4.2%)
Hunter 68 (2.9%)
Gingrich 65 (2.8%)
Tancredo 59 (2.5%)
McCain 24 (1%)
Brownback 10 (0.4%)
Paul 1 (0%)

FMNN has received a good deal of feedback on this issue. Some feedbacker comments below: . . .

And, if you’ll notice, they even had the GALL to put Paul’s name back in the list, with a so-called rating of zero percent, even though they DON’T ALLOW PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL!  AND EVEN THOUGH WHEN THEY WERE ALLOWING VOTES FOR HIM, HE WAS BLOWING THE COMPETITION AWAY!

Fairest poll you ever saw???  Me too.

I say this with all seriousness. The country will probably disintegrate and be carved up the Chinese if Ron Paul does not win. It will take time, but we are on the road to perdition.

America needs Ron Paul more than ever, and everyone who supports Ron Paul loves him as he is the closest thing to family we have ever seen in government.

Ron Paul, for what is just, what is right, and what is our Nation’s root modus, the Constitution and Freedom and Liberty for All.

    Vote Ron Paul!

  3. walker on September 19th, 2007

Ah, nothing like the Mick Rossums’ of america to remind us what the people that fill the void believe: the Chinese are out to get us (yes, but they’re doing it with money from corporations who have profited from Bush’s ‘hands-off’ and quite libertarian approach to business regulation), we need more ‘family’ in government (if only that didn’t entail installing someone like George W. in the first place), and that Ron Paul, defender of all (or those in a position to maximize those intangible costs to society that economists know full well about but libertarians love to ignore), is here to save the constitution (even though at this point it’s so widely interpreted it’s approaching the Bible in universal MISunderstanding).

Please, PLEASE. Vote your conscience. or your brain. anything but your ‘heart’.

  4. Chuck on September 19th, 2007

Well, I don’t know why voting your conscience or your brain would lead you to vote for any of the other leading Republicans either ;)
But I do agree, it’s astonishing how scared Republicans become when they get an actual conservative running on their ticket. I guess they just don’t want to invite the comparison.

This is what happens when you take the Republican ticket. Say what you would about Democrats, but Ron Paul could’ve ran with intentions to be emperor of the world and still be obliged with a fair chance at the Democratic ticket. Neo Conservatives like Irving Kristol (chief editor of the Weekly Standard), Cheney, Viet Dinh (author of the Patriot Act and contributor to the Weekly Standard) are among the small influential minority who have worked too long and too hard to turn the Republican Party into the American harbinger of war only answerable to their political whims by inciting and contributing venom and hatred into people of power.

With this, the lies about Iraq, the banks running everything, the economy, the assault on free speech, the assault on freedom of the press, we’ve slowly accepted that this is no longer a constitutional republic but rather Social Fascism: with the balance of power running through the Administration and it’s power over the Military Industrial complex, the Fed Reserve, and the CIA FEMA FBI CORE.

Don’t Vote for me, I am Actually Evil.
Just like the rest of them.
Once I get into Power I will take this country for more than the little bushter did.

  14. Smurfnevlin on September 20th, 2007

Oh c’mon… as if the “terrorists” haven’t already won? What is the primary objective of terrorism?

To make a statement or to achieve a specific goal.

Well, they’ve made many statements, all of which the whole of America has heard time and again from every political side we have for years. We’ve had information and disinformation shoved into our faces for decades, and it’s only gotten worse since 9/11.

You think voting for Ron Paul gives the terrorists a win? Let’s look at this logically… what is a bigger victory for terrorists around the world: A leader who uses their existence to fuel fear into the hearts of his people only to then use that fear to be allowed to destroy the foundations of a country… or someone who would rather look inward at the things we need to fix at home before worrying about what we can and/or should fix abroad?

I would never presume to tell someone who they should or should not vote for, but I do think it’s fair to say that any person who honestly believes that there is more than one moderately honest (Let’s face it, none of them are completely honest, because they can’t be) politician on the Republican ticket, you’re fooling yourself. And for that, I feel very sorry for you.

  15. Ex-Republican on September 20th, 2007

    > if you vote ron paul, the terrorists will win.

With Bush’s help, the terrorists *are* winning.

At least R. Paul instills a bit of courage in people. Bush and the rest of the Republican candidates are running on the “beware of the terrorists — vote for us — we are the only ones who can protect you” platform.

I think all those who support Ron Paul should vote the candidates they list as “unnacceptable” and not put anybody for first choice until they re-list Ron Paul. :)

  21. Norm Yoder on September 21st, 2007

I like everything Ron Paul says except for his military stance. You say the terrorists have already won because of Bush? The reason they think they’re winning is because of the media. All they report is what is bad with the war effort . . . . the number killed (which IS bad, but not when compared to previous wars, or to what we have in some of our “peaceful” American cities), the anti-war rallies at home, etc. The terrorists see this and figure that if they just keep whittling away America will tuck their tail in and slink back home.
The media doesn’t report about how the Iraqi economy has picked up. Or how many schools and hospitals have been reopened since our troops have been there. Look it up.

The country-club Republicans didn’t like Ronald Reagan, the Democrats didn’t like Truman, (or Carter, or McGovern).

Sometimes, the people can override the party insiders and get the candidate of their choice nominated. This just might be one of those times.
