So, Why Is A British Man Supporting Ron Paul?
 Hello cousins across the pond. My name is Matt Davies, and I am a born and bred English man, living just outside of London in the U.K. I’m pretty much your average Joe, living with my wife, working for a living in I.T., and just trying to get by. So why am I angry? Why am I becoming increasingly concerned for not just my own country, but the whole world’s population? Well, it is pretty damned simple, when you drill down to the root of my concerns. We are all losing our freedoms! No, it’s not like we have suddenly had a Mugabe, or a Saddam Hussein foisted upon us. That couldn’t have happened here (yet), because people ARE used to a reasonable amount of freedom. It’s like trying to take candy from a child–just grab it from them with maximum fuss, and they will scream and fight back . . . steal it while they are sleeping or not looking, and the same objective is achieved, but without the victim even knowing it. Even when the child wakes up, he/she still only has a vague recollection of the sweets, but they are gone never-the-less. It’s really worse than that for us though, as while my country sleeps, ever more of our freedoms are taken away. It’s all done slowly and by stealth a lot of the time, but it is happening. I can no longer walk around London, without at least a couple of cameras watching me. I can no longer have a hassle free journey as I have to keep an eye on my speedo, rather than the road, for fear of being fined for going a few miles over a speed limit. They are planning to spend Billions of pounds on ID cards, in order to track and trace me more. They want us all to have black boxes in our cars, so they can control our driving habits. They have installed RFID chips in my bins, so they can track and control my refuse output. The list goes on all the time. If you had suggested all of these things a few years ago, there would have been outrage. Freedom used to mean something in my country, but every day the people are giving it away. Sure, there is an anger building now. There is a resentment of all the old parties, who are EXACTLY the same. Why are they the same? Because they all take their orders from the centre. They have thrown away centuries of democratic sovereign rule, and handed over power to the corrupt and unelected EU [European Union]. People like Peter Mandelson were thrown out of British parliament twice for being crooked, yet now he is running trade for the whole of the European Union. I am 33 years old, and I have NEVER once had a say in whether I want this. Come election time, the EU isn’t even mentioned, and for good reason. The people despise it here. Every unrigged poll, points to well over two thirds of the people not wanting to be in this corrupt club. Why would they? Why would people want to pay out BILLIONS of pounds (times that by just over two, for dollars), to basically be told what to do? The answer is, they don’t. Sadly, though, the establishment elite have all the tools of control at their disposal. They have a compliant and obedient mainstream media, which pumps out pure propaganda every day. Sadly, this has worked, up until now, but the good news is that the internet is changing things. No longer are people buying the utter rubbish being fed to us. We all know we are having to work longer, for less, and have to pay more to our government now, for less in return. We truly are heading toward the old soviet model of wealth distribution. That is the crooks at the top creaming it all off for themselves, while they lie about how they are making a fair society. We gave an inch, and they have taken hundreds of miles. Heck, they even send people to prison who won’t deal in the measurement units that they demand; so perhaps I should have said millimeters and kilometers, instead. To hell I will! I am sick of it. I have had a gut full of being told what to do, and of having my money stolen from me for the pleasure. Now in Britain, while the anger is clearly building, we have one hell of a fight on our hands, as the same traitors who have given our freedom and democracy away, have also tried to burn the bridge down, to make sure we can’t go back. They have opened our borders to unrestricted mass immigration from the whole of the EU. Our small Island, which can only produce food for 40 million people, now has at least 70 million (real figures, not the rubbish the government puts out). We have road systems with the capacity for 40 million. We have limited numbers of homes. We have limited water and refuse disposal facilities. They have overloaded the system on purpose. Think 1984, where people are kept down and suppressed. Think communist Russia, think any other God-forsaken hole, where freedom has given way to tyrannical rule. We are well on the way to that. Indeed, I would suggest Britain is now descending most rapidly into that cesspit and MAY be beyond fixing. These people are not stupid, though. They know many people HAVE rumbled their game, and they have put many measures in place to delay and prevent any resistance to it forming. They have succeeded in shattering any meaningful opposition to the madness in this country. People moan, people grizzle, but they don’t see any clear rallying point to get behind. Many people still slumber on, happy to pay well over half their pay in taxes. They don’t care that conditions are slowly becoming more like battery farm conditions, as our lives are ever more rationed. They stay happily ignorant, that countries, which stayed out of the EU, such as Switzerland and Iceland, are now the best countries in the world to live. So what am I supposed to do? Well, I was on the brink of giving in. I was ready to make arrangements to join the hundreds of thousands of Brits who love freedom, in getting out of this country. It’s hard to think like this, as I hate seeing it happen and my instinct is to fight it. When the wave is towering above you, though, and all seems so hopeless, it becomes almost unbearable. This is where Ron Paul comes in! Let’s face it. There is 100% an agenda going on here, not on any national level, but on a global one. All these fake “unions” that are springing up are not just by chance. It isn’t coincidence that they are all being done in the same stealthy, deceitful manner either. The corrupt elite, who truly have all the power and wealth in this world, want to make sure it stays that way. The USA, for many years, was–and to a lesser degree still is–a beacon to the world. Your founding fathers had to live through tyranny (much of it committed by the British elite of the time), and thus these smart men realized the utter danger of power collectives. Whether that be government or corporations, you mustn’t give too much power to either, but especially government, as it pretends to be the people’s savior, while corps, at least, are obviously there for themselves and their stake holders. Your founding fathers enshrined limited government into your Constitution. They recognized that the seed of liberty would always produce the best fruit for ALL of the people, and not just for a select special few. Your nation thrived on this simple constitution, and you truly were the most free people in the world for a long time. This is how you became top dog in this world–a top dog that others wanted to emulate! You are falling into the same trap as we have, though. For a number of years you have grown complacent, and allowed successive governments to ignore your Constitution. You are paying more tax and getting less back. You are losing your freedoms. Unlike us, though, you still have a very good chance of reversal. Your nation is still a proud one, and you haven’t given away as much as my nation has. More than this, though, just as the anger has built, you have had a man of principles and integrity step into the picture. You have a single rallying point, which we never had in this country. Yes, the establishment will use all the same dirty tactics to try to divide and conquer you. They will dub you nutters, racists, conspiracy theorists, contrarians, you name it. They will try and shame you into silence. DO NOT LET THEM DO IT! They are the crazy ones, as it is they who don’t believe in freedom. Please, America, don’t blow this chance! You have a great man to support, and a wonderful movement already building. Just look at the great people on You Tube backing Paul. They are 99% decent people, who just want to make sure that their kids get a country and a world that they deserve. I now recognize that restoring the beacon, means restoring the world. That is why I, as a Brit, am backing Ron Paul, and I urge ALL of the world’s citizens to do the same. Chip in to the Meetup groups, buy stuff off the eBay vendors. Make videos, run blogs, write letters, help in any way you can! But at the end of the day, this is down to the American people.
