ALERT! Miracles DO Happen!
I was SHOCKED! I was dumbfounded! I could NOT believe my eyes! I was checking e-mail after arriving home late from my work, and just before turning in, I decided to follow a well-ingrained habit of just clicking onto Google News service briefly, in order to see what headlines might be floating out there in cyber space. And I was SHOCKED!
It seems ironic to me, now, that while driving to my place of labor just hours before, I had PRAYED for Ron Paul, because now the usually-less-than-literal expression coming most naturally to my lips was, “miracles DO happen!”
NEVER before, had I EVER seen a Ron Paul story make the PRIME HEADLINE SPOT on Google News (that would be top left)! But THERE IT WAS, and with a thumbnail picture, to boot, of a RON PAUL 2008, Hope For America, sign! I was so shocked/elated/in disbelief, that I HAD to snap a digital picture of my computer screen! So HERE is what my computer screen looks like (now you know)!
USUALLY, my experience, since I was introduced to/discovered Ron Paul earlier this summer, has been that Ron Paul stories almost NEVER make it to the main Google News portal–with the exception of during and around the time of a major televised presidential debate (all of which he wins or nearly wins, only to be discredited by disbelieving MSM show hosts and news anchors). But even THEN, Paul hasn’t come even NEAR the Internet equivalent of making front page news! AND NORMALLY, the only way I can even FIND any news about Ron Paul, is to actually “Google Ron Paul”, as the firestorm runaway successful slogan goes. And even THEN, almost NO Mainstream Media sources are to be found among the usual offerings of Ron Paul news. But THIS TIME was different, in that these stories were picked up by the MAINEST of Mainstream sources; the top headline being the New York Times! And, like sheep, when one goes down a path, they ALL seem to follow!
Yes, miracles DO happen, but this was no passively received miracle, like a lightning bolt from heaven! No! The REAL miracle here, I think, is that a GOOD SPIRIT is finally nudging many people in our nation (& around the world) to finally wake up–as if from a comatose state–to the BEST INSTINCTS of this nation that was founded on liberty, which we, and the whole world, have been so greatly blessed by! The miracle, is an awakening to the realization that our bedrock principles have been SO TAKEN FOR GRANTED in recent years, that their very continuance and life are now in question!
Thank you for responding to this SPIRIT OF LIBERTY by pitching in, in many ways!
But, PLEASE, don’t get complacent! There are “miles to go” before we sleep!
I personally got so inspired by this surprising turn of media events, that I went right to the Ron Paul 2008 web site, and DONATED AGAIN! (AFTER WRITING and PUBLISHING THIS ENTRY)
I urge you to do the same (donate, that is, UNLESS YOU’D ALSO FANCY BECOMING A CONTRIBUTOR TO THIS BLOG), even if the expense means having to sacrifice some other little pleasure that you love. BECAUSE, there will be NO COMPARISON to the GREATER pleasure we ALL will feel when victory is WON; when we see our blessed nation once more standing as a true beacon of liberty to all the world!
Don’t get weary . . . we WILL reap in due time . . . if we don’t get slack in the struggle!
