Ron Paul buys radio advertising in early primary states
The ad buy will be running in early primary states and cost $430,000 and is focused on Ron Paul's tax credentials. Which is an excellent move by the campaign, because the media has been painting Ron as a one trick pony...when most of us know that he is so much more than that.
The $430,000 is a hefty price tag, but there is no doubt in my mind that the campaign will have an excellent return on investment with this ad buy.
Here is the text of the ad:
I would have wanted to see "Voted "Tax Payer's best friend, 1st out of 500 members of congress, by the Tax Payer Union"...but my guess there was an issue with using their trademark.

Narrator: Who is Ron Paul, Republican candidate for president. Ron Paul served his country as a flight surgeon after the Cuban missile crisis. As a young doctor, Ron Paul worked nights in the emergency room of an inner city hospital, talking care of everyone, whether they could pay or not.
As an OB-GYN Ron Paul delivered over 4,000 babies.
As a doctor, Ron Paul knows our healthcare system needs real change, where patients and doctors are in charge, not big corporations or government bureaucrats. As a Congressman for almost two decades, Ron Paul knows our Constitution is there to protect our freedom and limit government in our lives.
He has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget. His record clearly shows he will cut taxes and stop runaway spending. People who know him call him the taxpayer’s best friend.
