ACTION ALERT! Irreparable Damage To Liberty & Privacy HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!
In the past, I’ve posted action alerts about the efforts of the Bush administration, under the deceptive and deeply flawed, so-called “Protect America Act”, to sweep our constitutional rights away, right before our eyes, while all of America just looks on!
Now, it is being reported widely, that the DEMOCRATS, and other once-concerned legislators, are TIRED OF FIGHTING, and are PLANNING TO CAVE IN today, or this week, to the Bush administration’s bullying efforts to GIVE IMMUNITY TO ALL THE TELECOMS, LIKE AT&T!
These are the behemoths who collaborated with the NSA, to violate our constitutional rights! These companies who doled out and data-mined ALL COMMUNICATIONS OF ANY KIND, belonging to ALL AMERICANS, are now going to be EXEMPT from past and present prosecution attempts of any citizens seeking redress for the obscene violations!
This is obscene! There is no other word for it! It CAN’T be allowed to JUST HAPPEN!
I ask you to look up the office numbers (Google them) of as many senators and representatives as you possibly can, and FLOOD THE PHONES OF CONGRESS WITH YOUR RIGHTFUL PROTESTATIONS!
Don’t just call one or two, as you may have done in the past–it is VERY APPARENT THAT THEY WERE NOT NOTICING! CALL THEM ALL! Make your voices heard!
