Fox News was up to it's old tricks again last week when during the Republican Debates they checked in with their "focus group". This group, we were led to believe, was your basic everyday undecided Republican voter. Interestingly the guy pictured above, went out of his way to call Ron Paul "certifiably insane".

This morning I commented on a rather illogical anti-Paul post by ‘connell’ on the Free Republic website. My two comments, #59 and #60, posted under my username ‘rudynoir,’ were removed within 30 minutes. I am unsure what to make of this, since I felt that my comments were rather mild compared to some others. They did happen to represent an opposing viewpoint, though. Could it be that the “conservatives” on this site can’t tolerate an opposing viewpoint? Judge for yourself:

The world situation certainly has changed since 9/11, thanks to us. Iran supported us after the attacks, and we turned our backs on them. Now instead of having a treaty with Iran, we will be invading them. Good call, Cheney. Glad to know that my kids will be inheriting never-ending war and unchecked executive powers.

Oh and Iraq? Everyone knew there were no WMD. Well, everyone except for people who listen to fearmongers. Too bad that was almost everyone, including the likes of Hillary Clinton. Now those same people are “warning” us about so-called Islamofascism. Americans are not going to keep buying this, guys. Contrary to what Norman Podhoretz might have you believe, Iranians don’t actually want to chew on our eyeballs so they can suck out our souls.

This is why Ron Paul raised $5m last quarter and will outraise Romney in Q4. Americans want integrity and trust back in government. They also want their Constitutional rights back.

I’m sitting here working, listening to the Diane Rehm Show, and someone has just made the point that President Bush’s newest war funding request will be passed by the majority Democrat Congress because Congress is tired and waiting for this Presidency to end and I got to thinking about the next President; I thought of Ron Paul and how perfect he will be.

Because Ron Paul will say “no” to both sides. He will say “no” to the Republicans who would rule the world and he will say “no” to the Democrats who would rule our lives.

Perfect! A lot of money staying with the People who will save it up to fund their future enterprises and those enterprises will make our economy very happy and over time those of us who have come to depend on government largesse will land on our feet and charity which has never disappeared from the American scene will become even more abundant (now that the government isn’t taking so much of our lives) and we will be secure in our borders and being secure we will trade goods and exchange knowledge and good will with other nations and I think I have to change my title now because I’ve thought of more than one reason Ron Paul is perfect and I bet you can think of even more.
