November 5th - A Day to Remember
Thanks to thousands of freedom loving Americans, the November 5th money bomb has exceeded all expectations. Earlier today, people were forecasting $2 million, then $2.5 million, and as the day progressed, those estimates kept getting higher and higher. Well, by my account, Ron Paul supporters have managed to contribute a total of $4,322,173.31 in 24 hours!!!
The pictures you see are screenshots at 12:00am EST November 5th and 12:00am EST November 6th. (The reason you see 1:00am EST in the first one is because the campaign hadn't adjusted their clock for Daylight Savings Time yet.) The campaign now has more than $7 million and has 25 days to reach their month end goal of $8 million.
What is possibly more significant than the money itself, is the amount of press and attention this whole event has received. Stories are flying off the wire...
