FOX Conflict of Interest–Do You THINK???

It is fascinating to watch a so-called “conservative”, so-called “news” outlet, put the world into (THEIR) “context” from day to day.  I once relished nearly every word on FOX News channel, back in ‘the day’, but now that I am supporting Ron Paul 2008, I see such a blatant unfairness in the reporting that goes on, not only on FOX, but, ESPECIALLY on FOX, which should have supported its ‘own’ (meaning a libertarian-leaning, passionately pro-life, IRS-disliking, conservative Republican).  For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out for the longest time, why FOX was so set on suppressing the candidacy of such a firebrand and juggernaut as Ron Paul!

As time goes by, it all comes into better focus.

Consider this.  According to an article by Russ Buettner, in The New York Times, as early as 2004, Rudi Tudi (Giuliani), was talking privately with his friends about an ‘08 presidential run.

Now, consider his friends!: Bernard Kerik, for one, the defamed NYPD commissioner, who just happened to be having an affair–immediately following 911–in an apartment located near ground zero that had been donated for rescue and recovery efforts, with none other than the famed–now also defamed–Judith Regan!

Judith Regan ran her own namesake publishing division of HarperCollins, called ReganBooks; under the massive umbrella of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp organization, which runs–and controls–the FOX News channel, as well (she also had her own show on FOX News, at one time).   Some of the well-known titles from her Name-sake book division, are the likes of American Soldier, by General Tommy Franks, and Sean Hannity’s Let Freedom Ring.

Judith claims that she was made the ‘fall guy’ last year for the O. J. Simpson book, If I Did It, even though Rupert Murdoch, himself, had personally signed off on the project.   She has now come forward with a lawsuit, and is claiming that she was REALLY let go, and berated, and lied about (by the likes of Bill O’Reilly?), because of her threat to the candidacy of Rudi Giuliani, due to her long-time affair with Kerik, and the many investigations into his alleged corruption, which she carried with her the power to blow open negatively.  She even says that . . .

. . . she had evidence to support her claim that she had been advised to lie to federal investigators who were vetting Mr. Kerik and who might have sought to question her about their romantic involvement. . . .

Who was it that advised her to lie to investigators?  It is still a mystery, but . . . 

. . . the complaint says. “In fact, a senior executive in the News Corporation organization told Regan that he believed she had information about Kerik that, if disclosed, would harm Giuliani’s presidential campaign. This executive advised Regan to lie to, and to withhold information from, investigators concerning Kerik.” . . .

A senior executive of News Corp–FOX News’s parent company–told her to LIE, in order to protect Rudi Giuliani!

But it gets better (or worse, depending on your perspective)!  Guess who Rudi’s best friend just happens to be???

Answer: The man who runs the FOX News channel!

Well, now!  That helps to explain why even the recent graphics flashing across the screen on FOX News channel–despite the fact that Ron Paul has surpassed Thompson, and is tied with McCain, in some polls (see HERE), and is definitely a top tier fund raiser–purporting to show the whole line-up of OUR presidential options in ‘08, leave out RON PAUL!  He’s just not there!–kind of like the usual political “COVERAGE”.
