CNN Reports: Ron Paul in Fourth Place!

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA—Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s support is rising in New Hampshire, according to a CNN/WMUR poll released Monday. The 10-term Texas congressman and onetime GOP “longshot” has surpassed former frontrunner Fred Thompson, who is now in sixth place, to claim fourth place in the Republican presidential field with eight percent.
Congressman Paul’s support in the Granite State has doubled since polling at four percent in September.
The CNN/WMUR poll also indicates that 56 percent of likely Republican voters surveyed were still undecided.
“By all metrics, Dr. Paul’s support is rising exponentially,” said Paul campaign spokesman Jesse Benton. “From fundraising records and straw poll victories to landline telephone polling, Dr. Paul’s message of freedom, peace, and prosperity is gaining ground in New Hampshire and nationwide.”
Three opinion polls released last week by CBS/New York Times, Boston Globe/University of New Hampshire, and the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion confirm Dr. Paul’s rising in the polls.
The CNN/WMUR poll was conducted among likely New Hampshire Republican voters between November 14 and 18.
