Something Is WRONG In America!

You know there is a problem in America when...

At a tea party, yesterday, someone told me what a policeman "friend" had recently told him was his personal opinion of the U.S. constitution:

"The constitution was written by criminals for criminals," the officer, sworn to uphold the constitution, told him!

With that chilling thought in mind--and realizing that like rabid dogs, congress, too, is eagerly erasing civil liberties with bill after misguided bill, without the public even hearing about the massive ongoing liberty grab--get a load of THIS video!  Then ask yourself, if it is really safe to allow complacency to creep in, to just kick back and enjoy your life, to act as if our country and world are all business as usual, to chit chat about the weather, to go to sleep, and like simple slumbering selfish sheep, to lie down in the lovely poppies, believing all is well in Oz?

Why can't ALL news outlets be like this?  Many more USED to be, but now they're mostly in bed with the White House, the Congress and special corporate interests (which DON'T have OUR interests in mind, BTW), all of which make them reticent to cover ANY news critical to ANYONE powerful.  And what are their only safe targets in their cramped corporate world?  Why, little people, of course!  For SHAME!

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who even TALKS about the grave dangers to personal liberties!  No wonder that even after the Paul campaign raised more than 6 million dollars in 24 hours, still the political story I found dominating coverage all over the television media, was Lieberman's endorsement of McCain!  Like THAT'S a real surprise, or news to anyone!  In two days, I honestly did not find even a PEEP about Paul's amazing haul, in the many times I tuned in to CNN and FOX (I might have missed their blip, of course, somewhere, because I obviously am not monitoring them 24/7, but you'd expect to hear SOMETHING at least)!  Paul threatens their powerful backers and bosses, and the pet causes that drive their funding sources--they sometimes act like one big conglomerate conflict of interest!  There ought to be a law (and I usually HATE that phrase)!
