If there is any one permeating impression I come away with after watching any of the Neocons who presently reign over an ever-increasing share of the broadcast new media, it is the impression of an almost boundless smugness, when not outright arrogance, such as we’ve witnessed this week from FOX News and ABC (even though ABC allowed Ron Paul, they still eliminated others who should have been included).

I used to feel a great deal of resentment for the old LIBERAL arrogance, which once seem to ooze forth from the OLD time news anchors, who had reigned virtually unchallenged prior to 9-11.  But little could I have imagined that the next breed of newscaster would come to make the former seem almost humble in comparison!  And even LESS could I have imagined that they would have been those espousing a philosophy, which MY OWN misguided efforts would have helped to empower!

 

It is surreal!

 

In all honesty, It is more SAD to me than angering–because I feel a deep-seated patriotism for my country, which I now see headed for an impending irreparable catastrophe–when the very people who sway the masses, have themselves lost the compass of principle, but they know it not!  Like Captain Ahab of Moby Dick, they’ve grown pugnacious and resentful of even the sextant (the Bill of Rights), and they’ve disposed of it, or at least tried their best to damage it beyond repair.  And now, following their own DEAD reckoning, they are hell-bent on a fatal mad pursuit of leviathan (God’s fires be damned) the elusive object of their obsessive, but misguided–sometimes religious–zeal, to obtain absolute control at ANY human cost.  They would raise the thrones of their tyrannical agendas above the stars of our constitution; and the very stars of God–the rights derived from HIM, to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”!

Captain Ahab’s sickness turned him into the consumate control freak–so, likewise, are the neocons consumate control freaks at heart, who would like nothing better than to take God’s place.

Like Captain Ahab, they, too, can no longer be dissuaded from a certain mad pursuit, even by the chords of human suffering–ship after ship has come their way, warning, pleading, providing opportunity to steer clear of grave danger, but all have been rejected.  Even the good ship Rachel will not dissuade these calloused souls.  Though once impressionable, they are now hard and calculating; dead set on a course predetermined during a brooding insanity, over an injury to the self-might and self-power they worship.

It is truly surreal to me–until I stop and think about what it really was that drove me nuts about the liberal establishment in the first place.  That thing is what still drives me nuts about them, even while I am now more concerned about a Neocon agenda than I ever was about that espoused by the pompous liberals of the past.  What drove me nuts?  It was an overweening arrogance, which left the liberal establishment feeling justified in promoting its faulty one-sided perspective on the world, by systematically suppressing any and all opposition, which might have threatened the smallest tenet of their biased perspectives!  Then add to this their desire for government to intrude into nearly every area of life, so that those who might NOT agree philosophically, would be forced to participate in the implementation of the arrogant agenda.

But now the Neocons–so-called conservatives–have taken this SAME kind of suppression and oppression, which they once resented (when they were on the receiving end) to an all-new level, since they have gained the upper hand.  They will do anything to achieve their OWN arrogant dismissive and DANGEROUS agenda–at ANY cost–even at the cost of invading most sacred human rights, and of disregarding all human dignity.  It is for the sake of ideological control, that both ideological camps–liberal and neocon–have sought to increase the already massive size of our government, beyond a scope ever before envisioned, to the point of madness.

A fall has already come to the most arrogant on the liberal side, but a much BIGGER fall is certain to follow, the much BIGGER crimes of the Neo CONS. They have arrogated themselves FAR beyond the God-ordained limits to their rightful power.  Vindication WILL come to their victims!
