Ron Paul’s Next Money Bomb: February 1st
Anyone who thought the Ron Paul campaign was over after Iowa and New Hampshire was taking their cues from the mainstream media, and not from political reality. A true long shot candidate needs a strong finish in the first two states to remain viable, but Ron Paul was no long shot -- he raised nearly twenty million dollars in the fourth quarter, signed up over 100,000 volunteers nationwide, and turned in some of his best debate performances of the campaign this January, as other candidates began dropping out.
Ron Paul's persistence has started to pay off, with two second place finishes in Nevada and Louisiana, a growing presence on the ground in all 50 states, over 13,000 precinct leaders recruited nationally, radio ads airing in Maine, Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota and North Dakota, and sharp new TV ads running in Tennessee and Arkansas. While other campaigns are forced to target their dwindling resources in a few selected states, Ron Paul is widening his campaign in the lead up to February 5th.
Two successful money bombs, raising $4 million on November 5th and $6 million on December 16th, made much of this new national outreach possible, and a smaller money bomb of $1.85 million on January 21st helped keep the funding tank full, but all that air time costs a lot of money, and it's time to load up for one more big effort:
A February 1st money bomb to refill the campaign coffers, stun the national media just days before Super Tuesday, and let the other candidates know that Ron Paul's unmatched grassroots support remains solidly behind him for the long haul.
If you haven't participated in a money bomb before, now is your chance. If you have contributed in the past, now is the time for one last big statement. If you want Ron Paul to continue to smash expectations and to stay in the race until November, here's your chance to prove it to him.
Actually, there are a variety of ways to participate, at different donation levels, as several money bombs have merged into one. The big one is at FiftyOneYears.com, asking for a $51 pledge in honor of Ron and Carol Paul's 51st wedding anniversary. Or pledge as much as you want at the Paul Family Values site. If you have a little more cash on hand, and want to give $500 to protest the IRS, sign up at LibertyTax08.com.
If you want to tell the world that Fox News is unfair and unbalanced, join the list at FauxNewsMoneyBomb.com, and give as much as you want. If you want to help pay Ron Paul back for his hard work on behalf of the cause of liberty, contribute to his February 1st weekly paycheck at RonPaul'sPayday.com, five, ten, twenty-five, fifty, or one hundred dollars at a time. Wherever you sign up, remember to give only at the official campaign site.
Ron Paul's money bombs have proven their effectiveness time and again, accounting for more than $12 million of the campaign's total donations, according to the original money bomb site, RonPaulMoneyBomb.com. This grassroots powered phenomenon has been unmatched by any other candidate, although many have tried. The nine biggest fundraising days of the campaign have all been the direct result of money bombs, mini-money bombs, or money bomb "echoes" on the days after a big money bomb:
Let's make February 1st another historic money bomb, and shake up the presidential race once more, four days before 21 states vote on Super Tuesday.
